Unusual mild made with oats, rye and dark malts, flavoured with English Bramling Cross hops.

Cask as ’OSM’. Dark brown, small white head. Aroma is toned down, malty. Body is medium, smooth, touch of carbonation. Taste is ash, molasses, burnt wood.

Missed this when in Old Sod, caught up with it in Cambridge. Chestnut colour. Light bodied brew, quite nutty with a fair bit of toastiness as well. Quaffable - a good mild.

Cask @ GBBF. The pour’s brown with a small head. Mocha, cherry, coca cola nose. Similar flavors. Just a bit of smoked nuts and wood. Strawberry preserve, a bit of cranberry tang. Mild toffee. Light body, soft carbonation. Solid.

Draft at GBBF 2013 - London. Pours clear, golden-brown with a light, filmy head. Nice brown bread aroma with hints of toffee. Light to medium sweet flavour with brown bread and light earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness in the finish with low bitter earth, light dry toffee and hints of cocoa. Exceedingly sessionable. Excellent mild.

Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours deep brown with a small bubbly head. The nose is earth, toast, sweaty, toasty seed, mild soy sauce, dirt and unami notes. The taste is smooth, earthy, toast, light bitterness, coffee, burnt notes, ash and twig with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation Decent mild.
