Cask, gravity, Wantage Beer Festival 19.11.10 Pours golden in colour with great clarity. There is some light lemon on the nose, the chap behind the bar is saying that there is no hop or malt that he can detect in this, we chat about it and I tell him that I disagree with him, but I accept that the hops is subtle and the malt is just a flood of sweetness, there is honey, and a late bitter bite here. Bottle @ chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus aroma. Sweetish fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy citrus finish.

Clear light to medium orange red amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, grass, peppery. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Bottle at chris_o’s snorting hot barnickles, great green party sticks a lemon spinning meat party. Alround rating: A strong malty beast, ruby malts, spicey grassy hop. Not really much going on.

Slightly hazy amber with an off white film. Grassy and floral with nothing much to shout about. Mildy fruity. Slightly chewy in an odd way. Blah. Next.

Bottled. Golden colour, small whte head. Aroma is fruits, flowery hops and some mild earthyness. Flavour is caramel, some grass and mild notes of fruits. The finish ends bitter and slightly burning alcoholic.

Clear amber with tiny white head. Sweet fruity aroma with floral hops and caramel notes. Sweet fruity flavor with notes of floral hops, citrus and mild caramel notes. Ends slightly bitter.
