Cask @ The Beehive, Cheltenham. Dark porter brown, bubbly tannish head. Deep malt nose, robust dark bitter, roasty, burnt sugar malts. coffee/toffee, bit porter like.

Cask-conditioned at the Annexe, Bristol 12/11/2011. Dark brown with hints of red and a frothy, off-white head. Sweet, fruity and caramel aroma. Flavour of bread malts, with more fruit, a hint of chocolate and bitter fish. Good.

Cask conditioned at Wantage Beer Fest ’11. Chestnut with slight head. Malty fruity, slightly cidery in flavour with an earth, spicy bitter finish. The apple note becomes a little monotonous in the end.
