Dark orangey-brown. Thin head. Quite toasty - some light diacetyl moving this along. Full body with toasty accents. Some light caramel and earthiness.

Cask @ First & Last, Penzance. Nice red-brown, rich cherrywood color. Malty, on the husky side with lots of good caramelized malts and well-integrated diacetyl in the aroma. Nice malty brew with slightly burnt character.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. A little bit unpleasant, which makes me think something was amiss. In which case please take this review with a pinch of salt, and for my part I will rerate if I get the chance. That said, this is a golden coloured Bitter, with a sickly sweetness, which butts up against a burnt plastic flavour which dominates. Not too good.
