cask @ jdw, newington causeway. I really enjoyed this one! Smells of bitter lemon, soap and toffee. Milky taste with lemon, orange, hops, apricot and sweet peach. Nice light bitter finish. Really tastey and interesting. I’d definitely have it again.

Cask Handpump at Ye Cracke, Liverpool 18/02/2006 Amber mid brown coloured with some alcohol present. Fruity flavoured and hoppy. Crisp on the palate with a slightly dry finish.

Hand pulled at the Bartons Arms, Birmingham. This beer has apparently been brewed to celebrate the bi-centenary of something to do with Brunel. Darkish mid-brown, with a loose, bubbled head. Reasonable flavour, some sweet candified choc, some malt and a smidge of peat. Medium range.
