Cask, Star and Garter, Wigston. Golden with an off-white head. Aromas are leafy with nettle and honey. Woody with marmalade and mellow lemon. Flavours are sweet cereal with honey and lemon. Dry on the finish. Pretty dull to be honest.

Cask at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon, 28-07-07 Poured mid-light amber, nice waft of hops on the nose. Tasted very traditional, like an old style bitter, pleasant earthy hoppiness, with good full flavoured malty sweetness trickling through, could have happily drank this all night.
