Clear brownish / amber / copper color, small white topping. Smell bitter and lightly infected. Taste bitter, nothing more. Low carbo, low body.

Cask, Star & Garter, Wigston. Amber with a firm off-white foam. Aromas are caramel with lemon and honey. Yeasty with biscuit and light floral notes. Earthy, dusty hops. Flavours are caramel with gritty grain and sweet citrus. Dry on the finish with underlying honey. OK.

Cask Handpump at Ye Cracke, Liverpool 27/04/2008 Some hop aroma. Golden amber coloured floral and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Amber with ruby hue, white head. Quite a nothing beer, sweet, thin malty fruity, but overall decidedly dull.
