Tap at the Museum Tavern. Pours cloudy copper amber with a small white head leaving small laces. Aroma is fruity malty hoppy and caramel. Flavor is nicely bitter malty decent fruityness and some sweet caramel on the background. Finishes shortlived bitter malty.

Cask at the Old Gaolhouse (JDW), Winchester. Amber with a thin scummy looking head; neutral grainy aroma; oily in the mouth with some resinous hops, but only lightly bitter; then a dry, prolonged bitter finish. Very moreish, and more of an English Pale Ale in my opinion.

Needs to be un-retired on RB as I definitely had it on cask yesterday in London (forget where I’m afraid). Slightly earthy notes, some fruit and a dry bitterness. Nice session ale.

Cask - Cherry Tree, Canterbury. Poured a hazy copper-amber with a small, lasting & lacing white head. Slightly appley aromas with some grassy hops. Bit more apple on the tongue, dusty hops, caramel and an earthy yeastiness with a short grassy bitterness. Light body, soft palate texture, negligible finish.
