UPDATED: MAY 20, 2014 Cask @ Stratton House Hotel, Biggleswade. Golden, small white head. Takes a while to clear. Malty aroma with some undefinable fruit hop (I’m going to guess First Gold but may be wrong). Taste is sweet with a bitter finish, with odd soapy/buttery flavours along the way. I don’t think the beer is off, I just don’t care for it. Middle of the road at best.

Half, cask at Crescent in Salford. Near-clear, dark golden body. Firm lasting, white head. Spotty lacework. Bready and fruity hops to the nose. Fresh fruity taste of peaches added by grainy malts. Dry bittersweet ending. On par with the style, more or less (Greater Manchester, 22.01.2013).
