Cask condtioned @ JDW, Soton. Apricot and grassy aroma. Slight citric bite and bitter finish. Simplistic golden ale, although delicately flavoured and well done.

Cask Handpump at the Crescent, Salford 29/05/2004 Golden coloured and very fruity. Slightly creamy on the palate with a lasting malt finish.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. The last Golden ale, in an evening of Golden ales. Soft brown colouring with a slight coffee aroma. Rounded fruity flavour - strawberry and other berries. Soft and flowery in the mouth. Fairly fresh feeling, and quite nice generally.
