Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon. Brown amber with thin head. Paricularly malty bitter, quite heavy in character with a sour fruitiness in the body. Some bitterness on the finish, but quite vague flavours.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2006 Half pint pulled at The Lower Red Lion in St Albans (Hertfordshire), a slightly cloudy yellow-straw with a filmy head that laced well down the glass. A strong sour pollen hop aroma. Strong fruity hops in the flavour, quite a smooth mouthfeel with only a touch of bitterness.

Slightly cloudy but an attractive beer none the less. Amber colour with good bitterness. Nice palate that lingers.
