Cottage Gone With The Whippet

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon. Brown amber with thin head. Paricularly malty bitter, quite heavy in character with a sour fruitiness in the body. Some bitterness on the finish, but quite vague flavours.

Half pint pulled at The Lower Red Lion in St Albans (Hertfordshire), a slightly cloudy yellow-straw with a filmy head that laced well down the glass. A strong sour pollen hop aroma. Strong fruity hops in the flavour, quite a smooth mouthfeel with only a touch of bitterness.

Cask Handpump at the Beer House, Manchester 06/11/2004 Amber golden coloured and pale. Some sour fruit and a crisp malt finish.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Slightly cloudy but an attractive beer none the less. Amber colour with good bitterness. Nice palate that lingers.
