imdownthepub (4017), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Feb 10, 2007 Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon. Brown amber with thin head. Paricularly malty bitter, quite heavy in character with a sour fruitiness in the body. Some bitterness on the finish, but quite vague flavours. TheGrandMaster (1447), Auckland, New Zealand Feb 26, 2006 Updated: Mar 1, 2006Half pint pulled at The Lower Red Lion in St Albans (Hertfordshire), a slightly cloudy yellow-straw with a filmy head that laced well down the glass. A strong sour pollen hop aroma. Strong fruity hops in the flavour, quite a smooth mouthfeel with only a touch of bitterness.
