Cask (gravity) @ Crescent, 18-21 The Crescent, Salford, Greater Manchester England M5 4PF.

Clear medium to dark brown color with a small, virtually none lacing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, light chocolate, sweet soft english licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet soft english licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20100121]

Cask. A brown beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet wtih notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask. Clear dark brown with an orange hue and a basically inexistent head. Aroma of nuts and some burned caramel. Medium body, burned caramel, nuts and dried fruit. Light bitterness. 210110

Cask Handpump at the Crescent, Salford 23/01/2010 Fruit and roast aromas. Mid brown coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a slightly bitter roast malt finish.

Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with white head. Standard, mashy, malty Cottage fare with a dusty hop background. Boring.
