Cask@Market Porter, backlog from a few years back). Orange colour, with a small white head. Aroma is citrus fruits, some wood, mild biscuity and herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, earthy, mildly caramelly along with some notes of crystal malts. Slight wooden notes in the finish.

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Possibly a new version of this beer, as it hasn’t been rated for a while? This time a golden amber in colour with a loose cream head; biscuity aroma; sweet biscuity flavour with some orangey citrus to finish. Drinkable, but not very exciting.

Cask conditioned - handpump - OGs Wellingborough. A copper orange coloured beer with a nice hoppy aroma. Citrus fruits especially oranges to the fore. The taste is nice and bitter and hoppy. Nice fresh flavours and a deent drink.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 imdownthepub (8470) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2007
Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Brown orange with white head. Sweetish hoppy with biscuity malts, flowery with a little perfume, strongish alcohol note. The beer has undergone a change from the previous Brown Ale type beer at 5%.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2007
Takeaway from Gravity cask @ Bitter Virtue. Most definitely not a brown ale in this sample, either a recipe change or misfilled cask. Copper orange. Slightly sweet biscuity malts and floral fruity hops with earthy undertone. Refreshing bitter bite in the finish with the malt sweetness growing slightly as you drink to leave a beer that could be better.
