Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Deep chestnut glow, slim cappuccino collar. Good nutty, lightly buttered aroma; sesame and milk chocolate like dried milk, milky milk chocolate with nuts: Hershey’s Mr Goodbar? Nutty and autumnal; hazelnut dusted with cocoa, gentle roasted finish, milk chocolate praline. Has a hint of sick and a lick of old barrel about it. I don’t mind Cottage one bit.

Cask. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Cask @ The Bree Louise. No head. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, hops, fruits and nuts. Oily palate.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Reddish copper in colour with a thin cream head; red fruit aroma; sweet fruity malt flavour; with a lightly bitter finish. A straightforward bitter.
