Cask conditioned handpump Lamplighter Northampton 01/11 A ruby coloured beer with a white head ans lace. A malty leafy nose. Rich malty fruitiness in the mouth with a hint of candy sugar. Quite pleasant. There is a hint of tartness in the nose which is a bit of a let down.

On cask at Wellington; Birmingham- half a pint. Amber color, good foam- low carbonation. Good malty aromas, some fruitiness. Medium body & complexity. Goof bitterness & well balanced Very enjoyable

Dark amber color. Nice hop aroma. Very nice sweet caramel flavor, good body, round, with good bitterness too; in the final a nutty touch shows up. Very good.
