Handpulled cask at the Fountain near Old Street. Copper with a thin white head. Toffee sweet with very few hops. Very dull.

Cask-conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Is there a west country brewer that hasn’t produced a Brunel named beer? This one was unremarkable in appearance, with a caramel aroma and fruity malty flavour. Very drinkable.

Cask at Head of Steam, Euston, London Dark brown beer. Its ok, pretty unspectacular with some malt, some fruit and some hops on the finish

JDW, Horsham. A pleasant malty beer with minimal hops. Sweet, toffee, caramel. Nice.
