Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
A genuine bitter this one. It’s for bitter drinkers who like their beer bitter and possibly a little sour or tangy. It was a pale golden colour with a slight shinny white head. Easy drinking though, with a medium palate.

(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with a creamy white head. delicate aroma of herbal hops, banana and sweet spices, slightly perfumed. flavour is very floral and lemony, slightly tart, with a crisp biscuity maltiness and a light bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Copper with no head. Limey scent. Good mouthfeel though completely flat. Floral with some hop. Easy drinking, good, bitter.

Cask, Roses, Woolwich. Part of the "Whippet Series". Golden Summer Ale. Good condition. Clean and refreshing - a gently sweet pale malt, balanced by a gently tingling hop bitterness. Nothing over-stated, nothing out of balance. Satisfying.
