Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 20/03/10. This was pretty much the standard Cottage beer - an amber bitter with slight hints of fruit, sweetish malt and a light, bitter finish. Forgettable.

Cask at The Museum Tavern, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, foamy white head. Toasty malts in the nose with hints of caramel, twigs and grass. Light to medium sweet with nice, toasty bread, toasty grass, hints of caramel. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. There’s a nice, grassy hop bite in the finish, with some pleasant citrus and further notes of bread and caramel. This is a pretty excellent bitter, actually.

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough SE1. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.
