Cask-conditioned at the Goddard Arms, Clyffe Pypard, Wiltshire 29/1/2011. Deep Amber with a slight, off-white head. As Beer Viking notes, this was dominated by sickly sweet bananas and toffee, bit also with a rough cereal edge and syrupy finish. Unpleasant.

Cask at the White Lion, Aldershot. Dull chestnut with a loose white head; roasted malt aroma; nutty, roasted malt flavour; clear bitter hoppy finish with a touch of treacle.

Cask at the Red Lion Isleworth. Dark auburn with a fast-clearing head. Toffee-banana and faint coffee notes on the nose, more of the same plus roasty malt on the palate.
