Cask - Cherry Tree, Canterbury. Poured a golden copper with some initial but clearing haze and a fine, lasting white head. Crisp hops, floral and light citrus notes. Subtle grass, citrus, some malt sweetness and a delicate hop bitterness in the finish. Light body, low carbonation - nicely refreshing on a warm summer evening.

Cask @ The Pakenham Arms. Clear light amber body with hardly any head to speak of. The nose is sugary summer fruit salad, light angel food cake. Nice. The taste is light sweet caramel malt, red apple with a toasty tobacco finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, very simple but nice.

Cask Handpump at the Helter Skelter, Frodsham 10/04/2010 Fruit aroma. Copper golden coloured with a little sour fruit flavour. A hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Miners Arms, Whitecroft, Gloucestershire, 13/04/09. Amber coloured with a slight white head. Sweet, butterscotch aroma. Flavour had a similar diacetyl edge, with a touch of floral hops lurking in the background. Not my kind of beer.

Cask at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford, 23-04-08 Pours amber in colour with this white head, served ever so slightly warm. Sweet malt on the nose which pretty much covers most aspects of the taste, sweetish, malty, bit fruity quite tasty, not bad.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A gold coloured beer with a tightish off-white head. The aroma is a bit non-descript. Just a bit of maltiness. The taste is fairly sweet. A creamy texture and a note of alcohol. Disappointing to be fair.

Cask at The Market Porter. Light floral hop aroma. Very light amber color; very little head. Starts floral and lightly fruity. Not much hop. Very light hop finish. Very refreshing.
