Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon. Red brown beer with slight head. Full and slightly sweet ale with a big slug of toffee character. Some roasted malt in the background and a touch of soft fruit. A little grating after a while but still a tasty pint. The name annoyed me too, the pumpclip was particularly confusing.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. Now this one really annoys me! Why bring out a beer and give it practically the same name as another beer. Anyway... A reddy brown coloured ale with a malty toasty berry fruit aroma. The taste is also nicely fruity with good hop character. A really tasty beer.
