Cask-conditioned at the Mad Bishop & Bear, Paddington Station. A standard session bitter of unremarkable appearance. Aroma and flavour were predominantly malty with a dry finish. Ok.

Cask at The Swan with Two Nicks, Worcester 03-03-07. Maybe they changed the cask when I visited here much later in the day but my beer seemed to bear little resemblance to what Glen (with one N) had been poured earlier in the day. Poured a very clear amber colour with some maltiness in the aroma,taste was of a fairly standard bitter but some nice toffee notes and decent enough bitterness meant that this beer certainly met with my approval.

Cask conditioned at The Swan with 2 Nicks, Worcester. Sludgy brown with a slight head. I’m not sure if its me, but Cottage seem to be serving up particularly boring beer at present, this was badly presented by a bored barmaid making the whole thing somewhat depressing. With cottage having gone down the Archers route of beer name of the day, there is nothing to reccomend it.
