Some malt aroma. Golden amber coloured and hoppy with a crisp and bitter lasting malt finish.

14th July 2010. Market Porter. Clear brown beer, no real head. Zero carbonation. Dry palate. Sweetich dark toffee. A little tangy fruit coming through at the end. Okay.

Cask, pours a deep brown, tastes of dark fruit, burnt caramel, slight tartness a hint of liquorice and maybe a little oak.

Half pint, cask conditioned, served in full measure and to the right drinking at Market Porter. Deep, ruby-red body. Naked surface. Smell of dark malts with fruity hints beneath. Cocoa malts in flavour supported by dark fruity notes followed by a dry hopped, almost like old books, bitter end. Above par (London, 16.07.2010).

Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Clear red with a slim white lid. Chocolate mushed up with cranberry aroma. Mellow and sweet with cherry, choc and cranberry hints; some butter creeping in round the edges. Sweet and empty, but OK.

Cask somewhere in sheffield. Alround rating: Caramel sweetness and some old yeast, grassy floral bittering hop. Another bitter.

Cask. Caramel aroma. Caramelly soft bitter flavor, flowery. Malty sweetish. Nothing special.
