Cask (handpump) @ Crown and Kettle, 2 Oldham Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester England.

Clear medium golden amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, carame, fruity, sweet malt, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fruity, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]

Cask Conditioned handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A malty fruity beer with diaectyl in the aroma. Quite plain, earthy and leafy. Very English and quite dull.

Cask @ Edgar Wallace, Temple, London WC2. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

[on cask @ RBESG 2009] Nice toffee aroma with subtle notes of lemon and peach. Brown-orange with white wisps and a ring. Unpleasant nutty bitterness dominates the flavour. Weak hops. Light body, low carbonation, slightly bitter finish.
