Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Dark and fruity. A well matured English beer. Bright, reddish brown. Bulbous, fluffy beige head. Nutty malts flavours that grow to dominate the pint towards the end. Really does improve towards the bottom, just another good reason to be drinking pints (as if I needed one!!).

Cask handpull at The Chambers, Folkestone. Deep copper/chestnut, lasting thin beige head. Some mild fruit on aroma. Very soft in mouth. Some toffee. Hops are moderate. Toffee on finish. It’s ok. Soft and doesn’t taste of 5%. OK toffee.

Hand pulled at the Criterion, Leicester. Black, with red hints. Bramble bush aroma. Meaty ale, with a berry fruit finish. An interesting blend - thin and watery in places, but actually very tasty. Fruicoffee if you will.

Roast, bit lacking in aroma. Dark brown/black with tan head. Sweet chocl flavour with roast, nuts, aniseed and sultanas. Bit thin in feel but a nice beer.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A deep brown beer with russet and ruby hints. The aroma has Christmas cake, raisins, malt and alcohol. There are plums, blackcurrants and more alcohol in the taste. Very nice.

Cask@The Wenlock Arms, London. Quite a few different flavours in this one. Apples, berries, toasty, roasty malt. Lightly sticky, with some nice drying acidity, fairly interesting, but nothing special. A bit oaty aswell.
