A - roasted caramel and fruit A - mid amber T - sweet with roasted bitter P - mid and soft O - o.k.

Cask conditioned Handpump Royal Oak Walgrave. A mahogany coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A malty and nutty aroma. Malty in the mouth too. A bit of stewed tea. Fruity. Typical Cottage low hopping, but I think it’s quite tasty.

Cask at The Boltmakers, Keighley, West Yorks’ 04-05-07. Standard brown beer, nice beer that slipped down with no effort. Sweet malty aroma and taste whilst uncomplicated was quite malty, very smooth and swigable.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Brown amber with white head. This was a little better than the recent Cottage I’ve had, the body has a deeper maltiness than normal, then there was a whispy light hop note giving some depth. Reasonable.
