UPDATED: FEB 7, 2012 On Handpull at Peter Kavanaghs, Liverpool. Amber colour with no head. And that is all I want to write about this. NOT nice!

Cloudy amber color; thin head. Light malt aroma, a bit yeasty in a pleasant way. Good malt and caramel flavor, with residual sweetness and a light yeasty touch; correctly bitter, but missing a better aromatic hop. Not complex, but very pleasant.

On Handpull at Peter Kavanaghs, Liverpool, 28-11-08. Not sure who Peter Kavanagh was but this is a fascinating pub. Pours mid amber with a thin white head, sweet and malty spicy aroma. Tastes is more of the same with some barley sugar thrown in for good measure. Its an ok beer just a little thin at times. A6 A3 F6 P3 OV12 3.0
