Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Brown with white head. Old ale type flavour, winey fruity but seemingly quite sour and tart. Really poor quality, not sure what Cottage were trying to do with this.

Cask in the market porter. Aroma was noteably old cellar with the pale malts coming through only slightly. Taste was similar, infected or just old i dont know, but this was bad.

Handpump, Head of Steam, Euston, London. Yet another beer from the Cottage "Whippet" range. There seems to be another new beer from Cottage every time I go into the Head of Steam. This one was a good effort. Dark brown colour, malty on the nose and the palate, but not too sweet. Very drinkable.
