Cask Handpump at Bar Fringe, Manchester 19/01/2011
Fruit and malt aromas. White head. Amber coloured slightly hazy in appearance and fruity passion fruit flavour with a hint of dryness in a bitter malt finish.

Cask (Red Bull, Cambridge)
6 Simple malty aroma, clearly made from what beer’s made from.
3 Rich amber, healthy hight head.
6 Again, a simple malty body, clearly a well-made but unrevolutionary bitter.
13 Was a little dull the first day I had it, but was delicious the second day, so credited it a couple more points.

Cask Conditioned handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington. A copper coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A predominantly malty beer with a bit of husky cereal in the nose. This was perhaps starting to shallow as there really was little by way of depth of flavour. But then again....

Cask at Rose & Woodbine, Coventry, England on 28th January 2011. Hazy amber with a part-lacing off-white foam head. Aroma is yeasty and a little citric. Cookie malts and sweet fruits in-mouth, and a citric lemon hop zest. I found the finish to be bittersweet, developing down the pint glass into a satisfying wholemouth bitterness. Zingy mouthfeel. Pleasant.
