Sep 16, 2006 Cloudy dull straw colour. Really strong tangerine/lime aroma. Fairly bland flavour. Lightly yeasty (foot), citrusy (key lime) and malty (white bread) flavour. There is a light tartness in the finish, rendering it more refreshing and thus more enjoyable than it probably deserves to be.

May 27, 2008 Bottle: Pours a transparent bright golden with an effervescent froth of wispy-lacing white head. Nose of lightly sweet malted wheat with some grainy notes and noble hops. Body starts with about average fullness, but not much malty flavor and a touch of mild tartness and husky character. Finshes drier and more bitter. American wheats aren’t my favorite style, but there are much better examples than this one.

Sep 4, 2006 Draft at Fox & Hound, Wilmington, NC... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Mostly clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Citrusy, wheat aroma. Well-balanced, crisp, citrusy flavor. Lively carbonation. Finishes tangy and dry.
