FistFullOfCats (162), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Nov 5, 2005 Updated: Nov 21, 2005Bottle. Aroma seemed very citrusy, and almost a bit floral on first sniff. Body is on the thinner side, but not too watery. Little bit of bread/yeast flavor, but what really hit me was the citrus/fruit flavor. Maybe orange and strawberry. Very tasty and refreshing. I’ll defiantly be getting this again. ross (1525), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Jul 17, 2004 bought a growler of this, and drank it while i cut the grass- straight from the bottle. dark yellow color with a thin white head. taste is very refreshing and a tad bitter. fruity kind of flavor to be expected from a wheat beer. a good american wheat beer. these guys make good beers, i would like to see what they could turn an imperial stout into if we didnt have those fucking laws. wilkie (1088), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Jun 28, 2004 Bottle. Small white head. Pours a light
yellow, hazy. In aroma, I can smell wheat
malt and spice. Flavor is grainy, bready and
crisp. Has decent bitter finish. Spices are in
aftertaste as well as in the middle. Soft mouth
feel. Fairly good. shadey (1325), Rochester, New York, USA Mar 14, 2006 Bottle. Aroma is mild and citrusy. The flavor is clean and easy to gulp down. Simple, clean and efficient. A decent American wheat without an bells and wistles. UNCCTF (461), Kannapolis, North Carolina, USA May 17, 2004 On tap at the Flying Saucer in Charlotte. Poured a clear golden with a small white head. The flavor was dominated by oranges and coriander, with a nice crisp finish. A great wheat reminiscent of Sam Adams Summer - I hope it becomes more common around here.
