| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 3, 2010 From bottle. Light hoppy notes, just a bit of floral character, with quite a bit of chalky astringency and stale paper. A bit of sweetness and some metallic notes along with a bit of soap. Dark brown-amber clear, with off-white foamy lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with a bit of caramel and biscuit, followed by some muted bitterness. Some light carbonic acidity and floral hop flavor, but bitterness is muted. Finish is rather smooth, with very little going on in the aftertaste. roder60 (1045), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 14, 2009 12 oz. bottle - clear dark copper pour with quickly fading white head; musky aromas of fruity hops and stale grain; decent body with very low level of bitterness and hop character; like the Pale Ale, kind of a strange beer; I was vacationing from the PNW, so I’d say not really that similar to PNW IPA’s!! dkachur (2544), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
