Nothing wrong with this brew whatsoever. IT did have a bit of a darker color to it, but thats cool. Very hopy in both the aroma and body. Excellent session beer, very good.

On tap at the Charlotte Airport, Carolina Bar. Semi-clear amber with small beige head. Aroma is nice citrus with bubblegum and dry caramel. Flavor is medium to large bitter pine, citrus, grapefruit, off-dry caramel, toast with drying bitterness, nice. Medium, creamy body. Very nice.

12 oz. bottle - clear dark copper pour with quickly fading white head; musky aromas of fruity hops and stale grain; decent body with very low level of bitterness and hop character; like the Pale Ale, kind of a strange beer; I was vacationing from the PNW, so I’d say not really that similar to PNW IPA’s!!

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with lots of floating particles. Medium head with fair head retention and lacing. Citrus hop aroma with some caramel malts. Taste is pine and minty hop notes with a citrus finish and some toffee. Thin-medium bodied

Had this while visiting TN on vacation. Big malty backbone, but low hop profile for the style.

Nice resinous, can tell there’s cascades. very piney. could use a little more depth. body is a bit carbonated and light, there is a lot of backbone for the hops, but the hops are nice and interesting. good to drink.

Bottle Pours a hazy orange amber with a thin off white head. The head laces okay but deminishes quickly. Has a decent aroma of sweet malts and hoppy citrus. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is okay but not as hoppy as I would have hoped for. Has a medium body. The texture is watery. Has an okay finish with a weak aftertaste. Not awful but not what I was hoping it would be.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Total Wine in Richmond poured into a pint glass, 7/6/09

Aroma: Mostly earthy hops, a bit of grapefruit, and some light caramel as well
Appearance: Dark amber-like color, lots of sediment floating in this beer, some minor lacing on the glass, a nice looking beer
Flavor: I taste a nice amount of hops here, some light grapefruit sweetness in the finish
Palate: A nice body on this one, it has a nice flow
Overall Impression: A good brew, wasn’t particularly excited by the nose, but the taste was nice, and it was a really nice looking beer with an above average palate.

on tap at CBC d terminal of the charlotte airport. hazy coppery brown pour with an off white head and a ladder of foamy rings to let me know where the beer once was. lux leafy hoppy aroma (could have been due to the fact that everything for the last five hours smelled like armpits on the plane), caramel grain, earthy dryness, spice and slight pine. the flavor follows..., perfume, earthy, really dry, crisp and refreshing with a non resinous pine finish which lingers. medium bodied with sharp carbonation. 7/4/7/3/15/3.6
