Amber colour with a slight haze. Big nose of pumpkin, nutmeg and a little clove. Sweet palate, very spicy. Quite dessert-like even for a pumpkin beer with lovely sugars, pumpkin accents and smooth but assertive spicing. Nicely rounded example.

Medium tan head atop a cloudy copper body. Aroma is pure pumpkin pie, complete with pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, pumpkin, light clove. Finishes nutmeg. Watery, medium body.

2003 bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is murky medium amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), with notes of allspice, clove, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. A juicy, malty, very well-balanced nutmeggy brew with a nice mouthfeel. One of the better pumpkin beers I've had.

Poured slightly hazy copper colored, with aroma of malt and pumpkin spice. The flavor had a good pumpkin and spice element, backed up by caramel malts. Somewhat watery finish, but smooth.
