12 oz can. Clear pale gold with a thin white head. Mild, corny nose, a bit of sweet malt. Lightly sweet gain flavor, a touch of herbal hop. Mild, inoffensive and incredibly boring. Mildly dry finish. Whatever.

Bonus from 46er3498, pale orange color with no head. No carbonation either. I think something happened to this can. Nose is o.k. with light malt and not much else. The flavor is the same. Gets me a Connecticut rating, but that’s it!

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2007 From a can. Pours yellow with a white head. Smells of corn syrup, some herbal elements and bitter hops. Tastes sweet with some hoppy undertones.

In a can at the CT Brew Fest. Corn/grain-like aroma with some sweet maltiness. Transparent yellow with a very quickly dissipating false head. Sweet, buttery start with mild roastiness with a kiss of hops. Watery finish. Blegh.

Pours a very hazy golden yellow, with some floaties hanging about. Releases a surprisingly large and sticky head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is very subdued, almost watery, but hints at light hop aromas, and mildly sweet grain. Flavor starts with some grain sweetness, and finishes with a pleasant, however subdued, hop bite. This would really be a good option for that camping or fishing trip where bottles are banned, but why bother when New England Atlantic Amber is available? For cans, I’ll stick to New England Brewing. For good session beers out of Mechanic St. Pawcatuck, I’ll stick to Old Yankee Ale, even if I do have to shell out an extra $2.
