Bottle->SA. Hazy orange with small white head. Aroma: caramel, hay, grapefruit hops. Taste: big caramel malt with some hop notes and bittersweet aftertaste. Not a fan, ultimately a drain pour.

A - Pours a hazy copper color. A big 1 1/2 inch billowy head that retains quite nice. Some good lacing going on. S - Grapefruit hops, pine, sweet caramel, fresh grass, green apples, with a tiny bit of alcohol coming through. T - Sweet malt kicks things off, turning into creamy toasted buttery caramel flavor. The citrus hops quickly race in towards the end and balance out the sweetness of the malt. The finish is a spicy/resin bitterness that blankets the tongue and the back of the throat. Aftertaste is both citrus and pine hops. M - Smooth and creamy, medium to full body. Good carbonation. Soars with drinkability! A very balanced IPA. The sweet malt starts the fight but the hops finishes it. Nothing crazy about this one. Just an all around solid IPA. Serving type: bottle 07-22-2010

Spicy hay with a hint of citrus on the nose. Light malt with touch of caramel and firm bitter and minerally hop grip. East coast style IPA or leaning towards an aggressive British IPA I guess.

Enjoyed at a @JaxBrewBitch bottle share at Brewer’s pizza in Jacksonville,FL... This one was average. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it but it wasn’t bad.

[keg, Roebling Tea Room, Brooklyn] Decent-looking coppery brown pour with a cream-coloured head. Aroma is earthy, bitter and slightly piney. Similar flavours. Without the enormous resin or big citrus flavours, it reminded me of an English-style IPA or Pale Ale – good stuff [24112012]

Earthy caramel malt aroma, hope spice also present - ginger maybe. Dark, clear orange, fluffy tan head. Stiff, starchy sweet flavor, falls into the malt oriented IPA category. s

Amber pour with an off-white head. Arroma is malty and spicy. Taste is a little spicy hops and a malt backbone. Ok lacing.

On Tap at the berewery. Orange pour with a white head. Aroma is earthy spicy hops. Flavor is slightly bitter for such a low abv beer. Good and hoppy but not quite balanced. Very drinkable though and not bad at all.

355ml bottle. Nice looking pour, big off white almost beige head, unfiltered copper colour. Aroma is not very strong, mild bitter hops. Taste is a bit more full, but could stand to be stronger. Body is again not quite full enough. Overall, looked very good, but if felt like it wasn’t quite there. Went down easy, though.
