On tap at Mystic Pizza. Dark amber pour with an off white head. Malty aromas. Good balance and body with big malty characteristics. Mild pine and medicinal hop bitterness. Average mouthfeel.

Average at best. Not much aroma and not a lot of flavor either. Kind of an English style, sweet with the hops more subdued. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a somewhat hazy yellow to golden orange color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing that slid right on into the beer. The smell had a nice English sweet maltiness running over top of some light bitter piney hops. The taste was English malty sweet with that same bitter piney hoppiness running underneath to balance it a bit. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body and had a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was suited more towards an English IPA than an American one (there was a certain subdued carbonation about it). Overall, yup, sure is. This is an English IPA made by an American brewer and its definitely one of the better ones on the market in the U.S. I say get it if you like the EIPA style.

>> Clear amber tea pour. Okay foam. Vanilla aroma. Tea, lemon, paper flavors- not good but not offensive. Eh.

Just disappointing... does not look, taste or smell like an ipa. First of keg at olive garden. More like an amber ale with caramel notes and a little hops.

Ruddy amber pour with an off-white head. Aromas of malts predominantly with some very subtle notes of old stale citrus peel. This doesn’t really look or smell like an IPA. Flavor is stale malts with just a whisper of hops. Not a bad beer but not a whole lot going on either. Bottle from DandyWolfFloyd, thanks man!

Bottle from PUB’R. Pours hay copper with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose was biscuity caramel malt, sprucey hops, black pepper. Tastes bready cramel malty, somewhat sweet, with hops, mild black pepper and tangerine, and a medium palate heft.

ClassyBeagle (319) - USA - JAN 1, 2014
FROM NOTES: November 1, ’13. A: Strong citrus and pine hop notes, with an equally strong bready aroma. A: Pours a clear and bright copper-amber under a sudsy head that leaves behind a nice lacing. T: Initially watery and flavorless, but copious amounts of butter cracker and slight caramel malts come into play before the herbal hops add some bitterness on the finish. P: Medium body and moderate carbonation. O: Fits the East coast IPA stereotype, more English style than American.
