3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kevd193213 (800) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - MAY 16, 2010
Draught. Copper pour with a thin off white head. Aroma of malt and peppery hops. Sharp, almost overpowering taste of hops that masks any other characteristics, with some sweet malt in the background. I agree with a previous reviewer, more like an American Pale, lacking that typical citrus IPA flavor.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 philvil (162) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 10, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2010 hops are underwhelming and unbalanced. some nice maltiness and brown sugary sweetness makes this more of a pale ale than an IPA. texture is watery

On tap at S&P Oyster House. Hazy amber with thin white head. Hint of toasted malt and citrusy hops. Sharp hop bite with some malt balance, hoppy finish that lingered with a dry green flavor. Palate was medium. Nothing outstanding.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 4/20 dpjuart (974) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 7, 2010
Bottle Courtesy of Joe. Pours amber with pillowy white head, decent lacing. Another big dicetyl mess with bitter and corn being the overarching aromas. Not much malt, a bit of bitter, and a whole lot of blech.
