3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jgb9348 (3494) - Arlington (Pentagon City), USA - AUG 12, 2011
Copper coloured body with an amber glow and a thin off-white head. Aroma of light grapefruit and piney hops, a good malt balance, a touch of sweetness and a very mild nuttiness. Medium-bodied; Nice fresh hop flavour that shows some perfume, some flowers and more grapefruit than anything else. Aftertaste shows a good balance of hops and malt with a nice finish - nothing bitter, but a good hop showing. Overall, a nice and easily drinkable IPA while still showing some good hop notes and a pleasant balance. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 30-July-2011 for US$2.25 sampled in a hotel room in Syracuse, New York on 11-August-2011.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Delirium (591) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2012
Draught. Pours like a typical IPA, slightly hazy golden with a moderate white head. Aroma is earthy hops, with some pine/resin character. Flavor is fairly sweet malt, with some caramel and peach, with quite bitter hops. Not a lot of specific hop flavor besides the bittering. Sort of an odd IPA, but not bad.

Aroma is mildly nutty malts, an undercurrent of hops and a hint of a DIPA-like syrup note. The flavor is a slightly muddled mix of sweetish malts and hops. Decent but the flavor needed to stand out more.
