Funknmilla (511), Absecon, New Jersey, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle..thanks jjpm74...slightly cloudy amber, tan head...light malty aroma + a little fruity, almost like grapes...light body and carbonation--a light sweetness throughout...not much going on here--a little bitter hop in the finish along with a metal aftertaste...watery and unbalanced BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 16, 2008 This would make a great session pale ale, with a cookie dough maltiness and a bitter citrus hop bite. Nicely balanced in the sense that it is not trying to be anything its not, very simple and clean. Drinkable! I would by this all the time if it were available to me. riversideAK (1561), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle from jjpm74. Thanks! Dark amber beer with a thin lasting head and great lacing. Caramel malts and nuts are strong in the aroma with a little spicy hops in the background. The flavor is very similar. Caramel and toasty malt that are mildly sweet. They are followed by a crisp hoppiness that is a little spicy too. mar (558), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 16, 2008 bottle thanks to jjpm74. deep red/amber pour with a thin cream head. mostly malts on the nose with some slight hops in the background. very malty and spicy flavor that’s pretty easy on the palate. there’s a real nice finish to this beer. OldRaspy (254), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Jun 9, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle amber in color with a tan head. Aroma is a fine mixture of caramel malt and hops. Flavor is malty up front then the hops kick in followed by a nice hop bitterness in the finish.
