JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 22, 2008 Brown-bronze beer with golden highlights; fast gone white, irregulatr head. Quite spicy nose, coriander to the fore, and initially some other, fresh-smelling herb. Certainly NOT camphor! Coriander, sweet caramel on toast. Oh, and coriander, next to gingerbread spices. Sweet. And coriander... Light-ish MF, quite slick, even a bit sticky after some time. Overcoriandered. Generally much more spicy than I remember from long ago. Difficult to find, too. kkearn (689), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 21, 2008 Draft, at Ebenezer’s (Lovell, ME). Chestnut color, topped with a small off-white head. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, coriander, sweet malt, ans brown sugar. Flavor was unique, with lavender, honey, caramel malt, and citrus. Finishes primarily sweet, with herbal and floral accents. WeeHeavySD (1865), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Aug 10, 2008 Tap @ Ebenezer’s Pub in Lovell maine. Pours orange copper with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet and yummy. Taste is richley spiced, interesting to have after having a lot of sours. SHIG (1549), Oberoffligen, Germany Jun 11, 2008 Bottle: Poured a amber brown with a off white head. Hints of coriander, orange peel, and other spices in the aroma. The taste is a caramel malt with metals and spice. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 29, 2008 (#3457, 5/04/2008) Draft at Biergarden, although I’m still not sure it was really this beer, based on the commercial description here. Mine was walnut brown and clear with a slightly nutty aroma. Smooth and delicious. Incredibly quaffable, yet hints at some sugary kick to it. Overall, nutty and mild.
