Rated on 7-30-2016 at Pedal City, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer’s appearance is a small tan head that is mostly lasting, opaque dark brown body and one ring of lacing. The aroma is roasted, dark malt, earthy, chocolate, lightly nutty, and toasty. The flavor mimics the aroma plus a rich taste. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. A very drinkable beer with a light-moderate roasted aftertaste. It is a beer worth trying.

This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a opaque dark brown colored body and a poor lacing. The weak aroma was brown malt. The semi-thick mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong malty aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt mild hops brown malt and breads. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Draft to taster at Country Boy. Pours a clear brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, chocolate, caramel, light earthy character, a light nutty character, your basic brown, nothing to get excited about.

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear brown with beige head of foam. The arom has some caramel notes and a bit of coffee nuance. Medium sweetness and a mild bitterness at the finish. Medium carbonation.

phaleslu (9384) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2015
Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a deep brown color with some amber highlights and a small off-white head that leaves a sheet of lace in the glass that settles into a film and ring. The aroma is too sweet, led by chocolate and cream. The flavor is earthier, with toasted malts, tobacco, and light roast in addition to the sweeter chocolate notes. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, toasty, earthy mouthfeel. Not bad.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a translucent dark amberish brown with foamy very light beige head. Smells and tastes malty and nutty with a bit of toast. Average on the palate. Not bad.
