tmongoose (1555) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 27, 2015
draft that poured a semi cloudy orange yellow color with white head. the immediate aroma was citrus and hops. does have a medium malt base which is nice. the flavor is more of the same. nice hop bitterness in this one and decent lacing on the glass. the hops work front to back and evenly balanced.

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 15/20
DocJitsu (1159) - Florida, USA - MAR 13, 2015
Pours an orange-golden color with a long-lasting whitehead. Pungent piney and citrusy nose. Full body. Mild apricot, faint biscuit, and citrus flavors. Some creamy candy notes as well.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 16/20
Block (1650) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAR 8, 2015
A above average IPA with an average hop profile and sweet body. A bit too sweet for me but it does cover the alcohol well. Pines, citrus, lemon, hops. Syrupy finish.

Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color, white head. Aroma of citrus and summer fruit. Taste is bitter lemon. Decent.

Braudog (5966) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Side by side with the Alpha: Simcoe, there’s no distinguishing. Golden and appealing. This is a bit of an earthy beer, with a rigid malt backdrop and forest-like character. Good. (#5846, 11/10/2014)

Suttree (5407) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Sampled at 2014 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. It’s a fairly typical IPA. You know, caramel and pine, the usual players. Not particularly unique, but well made and tasty.

bubblehouse (646) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 6, 2014
Real good hoppy beer. Nice aroma with a smooth flavor. Sits really well on the palate.

BillKismet (3412) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Gold body with a light cream head. Feint, hoppy nose. Nice mix of floral and herbal flavors with a touch of citrus. Medium-bodied and sessionable.

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 14/20
Itzjerm (1582) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - SEP 19, 2014
An average lower quality IPA. Not very hoppy with a focus more on citrus bitter than hop balance. Decent citrus aroma. A bit thin on the tongue.
