Draft sample at IBGWF 2013. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced rye aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. The beer is a good drinkable brew.

on tap @ Country Boy / Lexington KY --- Cloudy dirty light amber, bubbly white head cover, curtain of lace. Taste is malt and hops sharing the stage 50/50 through a carbonated swallow, then moving to a smooth long finish. An easy to drink brew, but not distinctive enough to be a go-to brew.

Bronzed with a nice, creamy 1/3" head. Moderately sharp rye and bitter hope nose--quite pleasant spicyness. Likewise, the body delivers a spicy and floral bitterness. Medium-bodied, enjoyable, and well-crafted.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of rye, flora hops, toasted malt. The taste is strong rye, fruity notes, herbal hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, good balance. Solid.

sample draft on this one since I had the barrel aged the day before. poured a yellowish color with white head. nice aroma of malt and hops and rye...decent enough flavor with that spice of the rye makes for a good beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Large, durable and sticky off-white head over a dep golden body. Seemed a bit over-carbonated at first, but I concluded it was about right. Tastes (7.5) a bit better than it smells (6.5).
