bottle. at first, wasn’t that impressed - but it gets better - the taste really takes off with awesome spicy of habaneros. not a blonde ale fan - but the peppers make it quite good.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is grass, grain, hint of pepper. Flavor is yep, peppers, some grain, hints of grass, bread, honey. Light plus sweet, very light bitterness, medium chili spice. Light body. Lingering burn.

Poured into a snifter. 3.25 A: Moderately hazed dark yellow color. One finger of frothy white head that falls quickly and leaves just a wisp of lacing. 3.75 S: Base beer smells great. Grainy malts, fresh mountain stream water, grassy hops, and hay. The habanero is subtle in the nose, but it does give a pleasant burn with a deep inhale. Just a touch of chile vegetal component. 4.0 T: Oh yes, the habanero is much more prominent in the taste. It starts out warm and builds some good heat that peaks in the aftertaste. The peppers also add a touch of pepper flavor. The base stays similar - grainy malts. Fresh water, light earthiness, grassy hops, hay. 4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Refreshing and super smooth with a warming finish. 4.0 D: Really nice pepper beer. Perfect heat level that adds depth while still allowing the base beer to shrine through. ★ 905 characters DavoleBomb, Oct 03, 2015

I liked this beer and I didn’t think it was too much of a novelty. A pale ale kind of body with a great spicy character throughout. I thought it was really nice compared to only the few spicier beers I’ve tried.

750ml bottle brought back from KY thanks to Kenny! Pours a chill hazed Amber color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of old lemon, fresh peppers, hay, and grain. Taste of lemons, grain, dough, yeast, and light habenro notes. Very faint heat in the finish.

Bright orange cloudy pour from 22oz bottle at lake, from Jason. Lemon and sweet with a slight burn in the throat at the end. But totally drinkable.

Strange beer....16oz beer on draft. Golden color, thin white head, lots of bubbles. Not much aroma very earthy, white pepper. Hits the tip of the palate with tons of spice, not hot, more of a tingle, floral heat, white pepper. One and done.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a clear gold with an eggshell ring for a head. It’s a basic blonde but peppers really hit right at the end. Notes of straw, pale malts, grass, and habanero peppers that increase in intensity. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, spicy mouthfeel that lingers. Good spiced blonde.

Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average white fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop, malt and pepper aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium hot & sweet flavor with a medium sweet & hot finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable spice brew.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have biscuity malt, light fruit, a decent peppery burn as it goes down, ok for what it is.
