3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taster at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold color with minimal white head. The aroma is slightly bready with a faint hint of berry. The flavor is crisp and refreshing with a noticeable hint of blackberry but in no way is it overbearing. Very crisp and satisfying on a warm summer evening.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft to taster at The Tap in Bloomington. Looks good for the style; a mildly hazy gold with white head that slowly dissipates into lacing. Smells of wheat, yeast, and light blackberry. Tastes like it smells, but more blackberry-forward. Solid on the palate with a fairly tart mouthfeel. Alright, but forgettable.

Draft (growler fill from Whole Foods). Lactic wheat malt and light blackberry aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Mildly creamy/lactic wheat malt flavor with mild blackberry finish. Nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap in Bloomington (IN)
This was a decent release and worth at least a pint. It is not a great wheat beer. Even so it has enough flavor to keep you from wishing you were done with it already. If this makes an appearance in future summers be sure to check out a worthwhile contribution to the Midwestern brewing scene.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy orange base and thin white head are inviting and light. Blackberry jam spread over dry white toast sticks in the air with a base of orange marmalade for company. It feels bready though simple.
Flavor / Palate - Wheat and blackberries appear as promised. There is no real depth to this even after a few sips. The fruitiness is pleasant and refreshing. With no major flaws this is a perfect beer for drinking on the patio during a hot summer afternoon. I can think of a couple that I would prefer but if being local if your thing there are worse alternatives.
