On tap at PNP Charleston. Clear dark amber with small beige head. Aroma is toasty malty grain, medium/light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is malty toasty, some fruit, some vanilla, and hints of nuts. I didn’t notice any bourbon.

on tap @ LaRosa’s / Crescent Springs KY --- Clear amber brown with a thin beige head cover and lots of lace dots. Taste is malt that grows a lot as it adds first caramel, then toffee on the swallow. Light hops in the finish keep things balanced. One of the better offerings by Country Boy.

Rated on 01-31-2015 at 800 Degrees Three Fires, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer has a small tan head that is fully lasting, transparent amber body and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is malt, vanilla and roasted. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A very quaffable beer that has a light lingering roasted aftertaste and is worth trying.

Draft pour into a pint glass. The beer has a darker brown color with a beige head of foam. Aroma has sweet vanilla beans and mild roast. The taste is sweet vanilla with hints at heavily creamed coffee. Medium body and medium carbonation. Bit of a vanilla bomb, but its still tasty.

Tap: Dark-ish copper body with slightly lighter, amber tinted edges, coated with a thin beige film that collects outwards as a semi-chunky collar. Aroma of light toast, mild nuttiness, & a sweetness that somewhat resembles liquid vanilla extract. Flavor toasted lots vanilla coated nuts that have been toasted twice over. Hint of cocoa powder with a finish of toasty malt & mildly sweet vanilla. Kind of watery at times & a little thin on the palate.

On tap at Bearden Beer Market. Reddish brown, beige head. Smells like coffee and chocolate, then a nice whiff of vanilla. Nicely full bodied. Taste is coffee and vanilla, then a faint medicinal flavor.

From tap. Pours with little to no head. Vanilla smell. Brown ale with vanilla-- not overwhelming vanilla, but gives a hint of flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
