3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This draft brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated semi-transparent copper brown colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was nutty. The crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong malty aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of nutty mild hops and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft to taster at Country Boy. Pours a clear copper brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, light roast, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, a mild nutty character, I liked this better than Amos Moses, anything to add to a basic brown.

355ml can "1st edition. Thanks Calvin. Hazed brown/amber pour. Fizzy head. Aroma is very archaically bourbonny smells like wet oak and a hunt of vanilla tartness. Flavor is very rootbeery. Thin and fizzy slightly tart lits of vanilla. Like alcoholic cream soda.

On tap at the Lexington Pies & Pints. Light brown, with a medium, tan head, and good lacing. The aroma is black bread, light pine, caramel, and a touch of rye. Sweet and malty, with a mild and pleasant bitterness. Light to medium body, chalky, effervescent, and clean. This is a easy, balanced, and pleasant beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
APPEARANCE - dark brown as one would expect. Head has solid retention and slight lacing. Nicely done.
NOSE - definitely smell the malty character of a brown ale with a hint of vanilla. Nicely balanced.
FLAVOR - it has light maltiness, and very light body. I get a bit of vanilla in the end of the sip, but not too much more.
