Feb 26, 2007 Safeway gets 3 for $5 for this stuff so it is even cheap enough for our homeless population. Tastes and smells really awful with a nose of stale alcohol. Flavor is a chemical like bitterness. What really gets me is that this was the cheap drunk of my youth. Makes me appreciate how far we have come in 50 years of beer making.

Dec 21, 2006 This malt liquor is about as clear as silver thunder. It smells like an ashtray that was dipped in gasoline then set outside for a little bit. The taste is not real improvement over the smell. It simply tastes of alcohol and cheap crappiness and crappy cheapness. Ultimately, it is not the worst beer out there... I guess it is drinkable if you care to look through every cheap-o beerstore... whoo 200 ratings.

Oct 28, 2006 Don’t get many of these around here. Tastes like cheap malt liquor, except it cost me $7 for 6 tall-boys. I think most bums around here would pass that up. Cheap beers can sometimes be a lot of fun, though. Tasted of dimetapp and rusty change, although it smelled slightly better. I had a fun night, but I’m dreading waking up tomorrow....

Sep 12, 2006 I’ve had worse, and in a pinch this is just fine. It’s actually palatable in a way, with far more balance than other 40oz standards.

Aug 28, 2006 Gold 40 oz bottle and created a fizzy head after throwing the bottle back few times. Cheap bargain of only $1.39 a 40 ounce. Smells cheap and taste cheap but has low sweet malt and igh alcohol which made me actually consider this a top contender in the malt liquor family.

Aug 21, 2006 Updated: Aug 25, 2006From a 12oz can served ice cold. The aroma has lots of corn malt, metal, matches (sulfur), and citrus energy drink. The appearance is pale gold with a medium sized head. The flavor is just like the aroma but acidic up front with a chemical bitterness. The palate is just about like every other malt liquor I have had as it burns my throat. The finish has some malt and bordering on tasty but not quite, as I could not finish mine. It is exactly what you would expect to get out of a generic can. Avoid serving this beer at your country club or anywhere.
