tombyars (1316) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - NOV 25, 2011
Tasted this at the Paisley Beer Festival in April 2001. Cask, gravity dispense. Clear pale amber with a loose white head. Floral hop notes in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malts give a slight digestive biscuit note with sweet golden syrup flavours. Hop resins present in the dry bitter aftertaste. Finish is short and bitter sweet with orange peel notes. An ok session bitter but not that outstanding.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 19, 2010
Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Orange gold with a thin but tenacious white head. Fresh sappy, thistle-like aroma with noble-type hops. Orangey hop, fresh grassiness, fine creamy malted milk afters. Good length and balanced malt-hop character.

26th September 2008. Light palate but full bodied ale. A dry finish but the body makes this very drinkable.
