Cask (handpump) at Pig on the Hill, Westward Ho! EX39. No head, Color red and clear, Good bitter after taste, Smooth on the palate with a hoppy and frees aftertastered. Nose is a little hoppy and malty.

bottle pours mid brown with white head that laces well . aroma is malt , a touch of smokiness and fruity . taste is light malt , some fig and hoppy bitterness . a little thin on the mouthfeel but overall quite refreshing and not bad for a light beer .

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A dark brown coloured beer with a whitish head and lots of lace. Chocolate notes in the malty nose. Plentiful brown fruits in the mouth together with more chocolate. Pretty good.

26th September 2008. Light and a bit watery but very well balanced. Mild fruity hop with just a whisper of smoke in the malt.

bottle from Darts Farm. Cloudy light brown colour, mid-szed head. Light, malty with hints of caramel and fruit. Slightly dry and hoppy finish. Light, refreshing and thirst-quenching.

50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Hazy brown with a trace of cream head; fruity malt aroma; buttery, nutty flavours with good bitterness and some fruit. Okay, but nothing special.

Bottle. Hazy brown with a small head. weetabix alts with tea. Bitter with some metal notes. Flavours are malty, fruity and dry with some chocolate. A bit stale with a bit of a home brew kit beer about it. Bitter on the finish. Maybe a tainted bottle.

Cask@London Drinker. Pretty light and not much happening.Some bitterness. Just another one of these bitters which tastes like the ingredients, with none being to prevelant. Average.

Cask handpull London Drinker BF 07. Copper colour with slight haze. Lasting off white head. Buttery bitter. Good bitter hop on end. Decent hop, ok bitter if a bit odd.

Aromka is nutty, roasted and minimal hops. Taste is similar but with a hint of grassy bitterness, lacking any character.
