Very pale brown. Nice clean crisp bitter with a biscuity malt and and well balanced slightly lemon-meringue short lived hop. I was really surprised quite how much I enjoyed it.

One of the FIRST beers I legally bought once I came of age and I got hooked on it. Nice webbing in the glass, good colour, no aftertaste. A great beer.

Bottle.Obviously an accountant thought there was a gap in the market for a bottled bland bitter. The marketing person decided to call it Best which it isn’t. Ordinary and only to be drunk if you are really desperate.Lets hope that it sinks without trace.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. A little nuts in the nose and perhaps a whiff of floral British hops. Light in body, caramel and nuts and a metallic touch. Very subdued bitterness. But a pleasant little drinker. 180110

Bottled. A copper to gold coloured beer with an off-white head. Some grassy hops throughout with some fruits. A reasonable bittersweet balance and really easy to quaff. Plays very safe but hey ho.
