July 21, 2002 (Keg) A pretty average standard bitter. Drinkable, but not great.

On tap: I like the hand pulled bitters. I had this with proper English fish and chips. Didn’t have a lot of bang for the buck as far as flavor was concerned, but I’d just got off of an airplane after an uncomfortable night.

SilkTork (4691) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - MAR 6, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2009 Sept, 2002: Keg, Kent. Tastes of weak, stale beer and old damp cardboard. [0.5]
August, 2004: Keg, Shipwrights Arms, Chatham. A rough local. Soft fruity aroma. Prickly mouthfeel from the co2. A nutty fruit. No hop awareness. Barely beer. [1.2]
August, 2006 <a href=http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/28/286 Charlotte/Rochester>Queen Charlotte, Rochester Keg Greasy cardboard. Rancid fruit. Cold and fizzy. This is dreadful. I’m really not sure why people drink this stuff. Dreadful. Offensive. [0.9]
Nov, 2008 Two Sawyers, Brompton Sour cardboard nonsense. [0.9]

Copper coloured, dying head. Smooth and quite sweet for a bitter. Overall a watery and quite uninteresting brew.

Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - MAY 24, 2004
Keg, at the cricket Lords, Marylebone, London.
Not the most pure of ratings but what the hell. Served in a plastic cup on sunny Sunday at Lords, Day 4, England V New Zealand, the back drop could only have been improved by Australia playing. Amber with large creamy beige head. Strong bitter aroma, with a hint of chemical residue. Not the most natural of aromas. Straight one dimensional bitter flavour.

Based on draught version: Just your average English bitter. Nothing too exciting.
